THE EYES OF AN ICON

THE EYES OF AN ICON

Among the herds of buffalo l've been privileged to photograph, there are always one or two bulls that embody the raw power and presence of their species. Some are so large and dynamic, they appear to be a breed all their own. This was one such bull. From a distance he squared his attention in my direction presenting all his character and beauty - a flowing crown and beard, a face broadened across a head that was impossibly large, horns chiseled with scars of former battles, and a stoic look straight from his ancient ancestors.
