LOOKING UP TO THE HIGHLANDS

Winter in the desert means shorter days, the occasional spectacle of snow, and a calm that makes the world feel like it's on pause.  Arizona’s Sonoran desert is well known for its heat and long summers, but it has been witness to winter’s magic and temperatures that freeze mountaintops and time.  (2019)
