BULL TRAIN

A herd of bachelor bull elk, 50-plus in nmber, made patterned caravans along this stretch in northwest Wyoming.  Among them were the dominant alphas and their youthful followers that showcased the full hierarchy of their social ranks.  On this morning, the bigger bulls leading the pack were set against the dramatics of a late summer sunrise, emphasizing their size, strength, and rightful place out front.  (2025)
